Terms and conditions of participation

1) Organiser

The organiser of the competition is TreeSolution Security Awareness AG (hereinafter referred to as "TreeSolution"). Contact: info@treesolution.com or via the contact form.

2) Competition period

The competition starts on 20 January 2026 at 12:00 noon and ends on 6 February 2026 at 12:00 noon ("participation period"). Entries published after the end of the participation period will not be considered.

3) Eligibility

Natural persons aged 18 and over are eligible to participate. Employees of TreeSolution, persons involved in the implementation of the competition and their immediate family members are excluded from participation.

Participation is free of charge and not tied to the purchase of products/services.

4) How to participate (participation steps)

To enter the competition, the following steps must be completed within the participation period:

• Publish a post on LinkedIn with a security tip or security story (short is fine; e.g. 2–5 sentences).
• Use the hashtag #20YearsTreeSolution in the post.
• Tag the LinkedIn page "TreeSolution Security Awareness AG" in your post.

The post must be publicly visible during the entry period so that it can be found and assigned.

5) Participation – important information

• A maximum of one entry per person will be accepted. Multiple posts do not increase the chance of winning; the first valid post during the entry period will be counted.
• TreeSolution reserves the right to exclude entries that violate these terms and conditions or applicable law (e.g. offensive, discriminatory, infringing or confidential content).
• Please do not publish any sensitive, confidential or personal data (e.g. customer names, internal incident details).

6) Prizes

The following prizes will be awarded among all valid entries:

• 1st place: Security Awareness Radar Online Edition (SAR) – comprehensive measurement of security culture
• 2nd place: Security Awareness Campaign of your choice (from the TreeSolution standard range)
• 3rd place: Security Awareness Microlearning of your choice (from the TreeSolution standard range)

Special provision for existing Academy Gold or Platinum customers:
If a winner already has a TreeSolution subscription that includes the prize they have won and no other non-cash benefit is available (e.g. with Platinum Academy or full use of the catalogue), an alternative anniversary prize will be awarded. In this case, the winner will receive their choice of:

• An anniversary discount of 20% on the next order or extension of a service/product that is not yet included in the current subscription.
• The option to pass on the original prize to an affiliated company (subsidiary) or partner organisation.
• A free 20% upgrade of user licences for the next term.

Notes on the prizes:

• The exact details (scope, content, schedule) will be agreed with the winners and within the usual framework conditions at TreeSolution.
• Cash payment, exchange or transfer of the prize to third parties is excluded, to the extent permitted by law.
• TreeSolution may replace a prize with an equivalent or higher-value substitute if the original prize is unavailable for reasons beyond TreeSolution's control.

7) Determination of winners

The winners will be determined at random from all valid entries within 10 days of the end of the entry period.

8) Prize notification & acceptance

The winners will be notified via LinkedIn (post and if possible direct message), and must accept the prize within 14 days of notification by contacting TreeSolution.

If no response is received within the deadline, TreeSolution may forfeit the prize and select a replacement winner.

9) Rights of use for posts (reposting/marketing)

By participating, the participant grants TreeSolution the non-exclusive, temporally and spatially unrestricted right to share, quote, screenshot and/or repost the LinkedIn contribution in connection with the competition and communication about the anniversary (e.g. website, LinkedIn, newsletter, presentations) in connection with the competition and communication about the anniversary (e.g. website, LinkedIn, presentations), provided that the LinkedIn handle/author is named, as far as technically possible. 10) Data protection

TreeSolution processes personal data only to the extent necessary to conduct the competition (e.g. determining and contacting the winners, processing the prizes). The legal basis is the conduct of the competition.

The following data is generally processed:

• publicly visible LinkedIn profile information (e.g. name/handle),
• the linked post,
• contact details of the winners for processing, if applicable.

11) Liability

TreeSolution accepts no liability for technical malfunctions, failures of the LinkedIn platform or the inability to find posts due to privacy settings.

12) Platform notice (LinkedIn disclaimer)

This competition is not affiliated with LinkedIn and is in no way sponsored, supported or organised by LinkedIn. TreeSolution is the sole contact and responsible party.

13) Change/termination of the competition

TreeSolution reserves the right to modify, interrupt or prematurely terminate the competition for important reasons (e.g. in the event of misuse, technical problems or legal reasons). In this case, any claims already made shall only exist to the extent required by law.

14) Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. To the extent permitted, the place of jurisdiction is Zug.
